New species: Fluffy

a New alien species these little critters came from a dream I had actually. I had to make them X3 expect adoptables of these guys soon~

Average height: 2 feet 5 inches

Average weight: 2-5 pounds

Fluffies are a race of critters found in every city in Arkea. they are able to adapt to any environment they're placed in. these creatures are passive and aren't usually aggressive except to Felian and rivals. they were named "Fluffy" because of their soft fur and fluffy bodies. one could call them chubby but it's all fluff. they are kept as pets and as companions for the humans living on Arkea. Fluffies behave like cats and love to be the center of attention. they are curious and tend to cause trouble but it's all in fun. the blood and flesh of this species is a dark shade of red. the main differene between a male and a female Fluffy is the size of their head. males have a larger head than the females and tend to be less poofy.

Average lifespan: 25 years

Diet: anything sugary, nuts, meat, fruit, cheese, and milk.

Names
owners seem to have no problem in naming their Fluffies since they accept their names regardless of how silly it sounds. Fluffies are named after objects and food. they can also have human and alien names.

Colors
Fluffies come in all sorts of colors. they can be any color as long as they are not blindingly bright. they cannot have rainbow colors. they can have up to 3 body colors. the second color must be the lightest for the belly fur. all Fluffies have black cheek circles.

Mating and reproduction
Fluffies reach sexual maturity at the age of 9. it's up to the owner if they want their fluffy to be neutered or spayed to prevent over breeding. once a Fluffy chooses a mate, they will be together throughout their lifetime and will produce several litters. when a Fluffy falls in love, they will coo and rub faces to show their affection. they will even groom each other to build up their bond. when the female is ready to mate, she will lay on her back, blush and purr loudly. the pair will mate several times. pregnancy lasts for 3 months. females will go into cycles of heat 3 times a year to ensure that she has offspring. owners can prevent the female going into heat by having her spayed. baby Fluffies are called Poofs. Fluffies tend to have 3-5 Poofs in a litter. they rarely have a single Poof. Poofs are born with both parent's colors and with tiny cheek circles. they are blind and deaf and rely on their sense of touch and smell to guide them. their eyes open after 3 weeks. the shape of the Poof's eyes depends on the parent's eye shape.

Ownership
Fluffies are a common pet to have and are often seen with humans, Necrolupis and Felian (if raised together at a young age). Fluffies sell for 200-300 Arkeons. Poofs sell for 150 Arkeons. older Fluffies sell for about 90 Arkeons. once owned, they are given a collar and a tag which signifies proof of ownership. Owners must obtain a license if they wish to be a Fluffy breeder. unregistered breeders will have their Fluffies and Poofs revoked.

Toys
Fluffies love toys. they will play and chew on just about anything that is round, sparkly, shiny or soft. they adore balls of yarn and tennis balls. balls with bells also peak their interest.  they have a strange attraction to toys that make noise. they enjoy playing with laser pointers and shadows.

Mutations
Fluffies and Poofs can have genetic mutations. some are not serious but others require special attention to ensure that the Fluffy or Poof is healthy. here is the list of mutations
